But what is thinking about knowledge for computer science? Has it any sense to think about how structured knowledge may be? Any sense to think about how computers may support our way of searching, learning and organizing this what we call knowledge? We think so. We are thinking that there is a better way of walking through computer environment and our mission is to bring what we have learned about knowledge, its organization, its affection into computer based results, into software.

Hermine Server is a collection for services all about knowledge. We don't think there is ONE service for knowledge, ONE tool to find what you are looking for. Services about knowledge means the answer for questions like what may be the relatives to the word I'm looking for, what may help me to find some more specialized about something I have only an idea of it and so on.

We know that is hard work. But we do believe in freedom of mind, the power of visions and the strength of community. Everybody is invited.
